Terms of Service

Last updated 9 September 2026

Draft — pending owner sign-off. This page has not yet been reviewed by the business owner.

The service

Shop Harbour is a stock, sales and invoicing system for small businesses, provided as a website and as an Android app that shows the same website. These terms govern your use of both.

Your account and your business data

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for the accuracy of the information you enter. The products, stock, sales, purchase, customer, supplier and financial records you or your staff enter belong to your business, not to us; we process them only to provide the service to you, as described in our privacy policy.

Acceptable use

  • Use the service only for lawful business purposes.
  • Do not attempt to access another business’s data, disrupt the service, or reverse-engineer the app.
  • Do not use the service to store or transmit content that is illegal, fraudulent, or infringes someone else’s rights.

Availability

We aim to keep the service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance and unplanned outages can occur; we will fix problems as quickly as we reasonably can.

Fees

None at this time. If that changes, we will tell current account holders in advance before it takes effect.

Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms, is used unlawfully, or is inactive for an extended period, after making a reasonable attempt to contact the account owner where practical.

Liability

The service is provided on an "as is" basis. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya.
